You could try and contact Broadcom but I wouldn't rate your chances.–Jun 2 '14 at 17:19. Hacky, and more work (I have to actually make the dongles) but I control the entire stack in my application so it's an acceptable solution in my case. Broadcom has a 'WICED Smart' SDK which is intended for firmware development on their BLE chips (e.g., BCM27036, BCM20737). I'm afraid that's all I know - I gave up at that point and have resorted to using a custom BLE to Serial USB dongle with a BLE chip that supports the master role (nRF51822).
