Generac has hundreds of thousands of parts and at times it can be hard to know what’s what. We did our best to categorize every single part that we offer so that you can pick a section and hopefully find what you need. There are quite a few parts that we don’t have on the website and can still get for you. We call these “special order” parts which just means that we don’t normally offer the part so we will order from the manufacturer specifically for you. Since we are ordering it for you these parts aren’t returnable at all. We do offer a few maintenance items, but we don’t have access to search for parts on these units just yet.

Similar to the Generac section once you click here you’ll get a lot of difference options. There are thousands of parts so please don’t just pick a part because it looks like the right one. If you have the part number you can enter it into the search and if not then you might need to refer to the owner’s manual. U1 is the battery classification size. The cheapest lead acid wet cell 12 vdc is napa # BAT8221 EPM batteries are classified as a sealed battery and cost a lot more. The other battery I was trying to cross was for the 8500 watt model generac. Those are the goofy size batteries that are still on back order. In the smaller portables you should really use a sealed battery to keep the corrosion out of places where it doesnot need to be. When a unit is running you would not want to suck acid fumes into the back of the gen end thus setting up a corrosive environment in the gen end leading to a premature failure.
