I actually tried mailing but for some reaon these mails get bounced. So trying here.I have Fritz 14 (Steam), I also have Chessbase 13 with the mega database as well as a premium monthly subscription to playchess so I would say I'm a good customer:)When I use playchess, I can play games and stuff but some things are disabled. For example when I try to chat I get the message 'serial key required for chat'.
The same for when I try to applaud an opponent after a loss.I thought that with the premium subscription of playchess came a serial but I can't find anything on my account page.The serial from Fritz or chessbase also doesn't seem to work. The serial that comes with fritz is the playchess serial as well. I've been having similar problems lately too i spent about 2 weeks back n forth with chessbase who eventually told me to go talk to encore/viva. The accounting system is screwed up somewhere because no matter how many time i re-install reactivate fritz on steam i can't update it any more. Fritz admin tells me the product is activated and CB tell me i haven't exceeded my install limit but there's no option in the menu to update the software. Which basicaly renders the software useless because the default pkg has a ton of bugs.:(.
